From the minute your little one comes into the classroom, they will be engaged with, played with, and loved on. They will also have tons of fun! They'll learn and talk with others about who God is. On Sundays, we teach a Bible story, do crafts, eat amazing snacks, and have a blast together!
3rd through 5th graders join the adults in the auditorium for worship, and then are dismissed to their class. This is a great time to worship as a family!
In Coast Kids, we celebrate God’s creativity by teaching and reaching the kids through games, discussion, stories, crafts, and scripture. This is a safe environment for the kids to learn about the Bible, God, and His deep desire to be intimately involved in their lives.
Children can be checked in 15 minutes prior to the beginning of service. Check-in is to the right in the back of the auditorium, just beyond the children’s banner. At the kiosk, your child will be signed in and given a name tag. If you are new to Coastlands, feel free to accompany your child during their class for their first visit or two.
Little Coasters and Coast Kids are sick-free zones. Help us achieve a healthy environment for our children by:
1. Allowing 24 hours to pass after a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea.
2. Not attending if congestion is colored yellow or green.
Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency.
So Young Life leaders log many hours with kids — where they are, as they are. We listen to their stories and learn what's important to them because we genuinely care about their joys, triumphs, heartaches and setbacks.
We believe in the power of presence. Kids' lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. Because their Young Life leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.
This is the first step of a lifelong journey; the choices they make today, based upon God's love for them, will have an impact on future decisions — careers chosen, marriages formed and families raised — all ripples from the time when a Young Life leader took time to reach out and enter their world.

An exemplification of God's love in our expressions, choices, passions, doubts, and even fears.
A daily posture of our hearts.
As part of that expression, we join in song, beholding God as a community and basking in God's presence and beauty.
Those involved with worship ministry devote their time and gifts to lead others into that presence and posture. If you're interested in exploring involvement with worship at Coastlands, or you'd like to invest in this ministry in other areas (such as sound, media, set up, or tear down), we'd love to hear from you!
